Overview

The 2024-2025 influenza immunization program ended on March 31, 2025.

COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 6 months up to and including 11 years of age expired June 17, 2025.

After this date, COVID-19 vaccine will only be available for eligible individuals 12 years of age and older.

The influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine are given separately. You may choose to get both immunizations at the same appointment or at 2 different appointments.

Book an immunization:

All Albertans age 5 years and older

Albertans age 5 years and older are encouraged to get immunized at a community pharmacy.

To book an appointment at a community pharmacy:

  • Book online using the Alberta Vaccine Booking System.
  • Call Health Link at 811.
  • Contact your local pharmacy.

To book an appointment at an AHS clinic:

Children age 6 months up to 5 years

Appointments for children age 6 months up to 5 years and their families are available at AHS clinics.

To book an appointment at an AHS clinic:

Call Health Link at 811 if you do not have an Alberta healthcare card.

Unable to leave home

If you cannot leave your home for medical or personal appointments, you may be eligible to get the influenza and COVID-19 vaccine at home. Call Health Link at 811 to learn more. If you receive home care services, your case manager or healthcare team may contact you directly to talk about immunization appointments.
